Responsibilities and challenges
As our client’s Software Engineer you will thrive on building, maintaining, and improving our client’s core products and services which form the solution suites for several business areas.
Some of the challenges you will face are implementing business logic, analyzing and solving issues reported by our customers, understanding and improving our data model using an SQL server database, making sure our client’s core products can also be accessed by web applications through API’s, upholding security principles.
You work with a multi-disciplinary international team, in an Agile development environment, and together you are responsible for the development of new functionalities, maintenance and support of the products and services.
At least 3 years working experience as a software engineer within a software company
Experienced in designing software, e.g. know what design patterns and SOLID are
Experience in writing technical designs is a plus
Great analytical skills and ability to handle high complexity
Experience with Delphi
Experience with Microsoft stack: .NET Core, ASP.NET, C# 7.0, LINQ
Familiar with Microsoft Azure cloud (e.g. services like App Service, Azure Functions, Web Jobs, Application Insights, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Azure SQL, etc.)
Nice to have some experience with C++
Affinity with Domain-driven design
Used to working in an agile software development environment, with: code reviews, unit testing, UI testing and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD)
Willingness to take part in on-call duties to support our client’s customers 24/7 (approx. 8 weeks per year). You will be generously compensated
