As an Analytics Consultant at our clients Data Science & Consulting division you will be part of an unique organization and team who will be improving the business of our customers using mathematics, data science and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities and challenges

You will be mentored by our client’s experienced colleagues and team leaders, and you can follow both soft and hard skills courses to get you up to speed. Our clients offers a special development program for (young) professionals and for their team leaders. And of course, they are also interested in the experience and ideas you bring to the table!

One of the projects you will be working on is in the client’s Energy market. The project entails developing and maintaining a custom web application that supports users in workflows around forecasting and scenario analysis. You work in a small team of a few full-stack developers and in close collaboration with the client’s customers. There are regular meetings with the product owner and key user so that development happens in an agile and iterative manner. Helping with requirements engineering and scoping out new features is part of the job, so we are looking for someone who enjoys customer interactions.

Job Requirements

You have a Master’s degree in Econometrics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering field or other relevant studies

2-5 years relevant working experience

Strong communicator, a self-starter and motivated by the clients’ vision, contact and interaction

Able to work in a team, at the location of the client and at home.

Experience in modelling and programming

Knowledge of R, Python, AIMMS, databases and/or Excel

Ambitious and quick problem-solver

Able to fluently communicate in English (verbally and in writing)

Our client uses the following technologies so experience in these is considered a plus:

- Python: Starlette, Sqlalchemy, Alembic, Pandas, Altair

- Javascript: React, Mobx, Ant design

- Sql databases

- Gi

- Docker
